Nona Jean Hulsey Art Gallery
The Nona Jean Hulsey Art Gallery, located in the Norick Art Center, provides a teaching/learning space for the direct use of faculty and students in the Oklahoma City University Art Department. The Hulsey Gallery also provides a link between the University and the community with scheduled exhibitions that are open to the public and free of charge. It has 2800 square feet and 290 linear feet of exhibition space.To support its mission the Hulsey Gallery shows the work of artist and designers from Oklahoma and the region, as well as work by Oklahoma City University students. There are between eight and ten scheduled exhibitions during the academic year, with one show for graduating seniors at the end of each semester. A juried exhibition of student work, open to all Oklahoma City University students, is held each spring.
Artists interested in showing at the Hulsey Gallery are encouraged to send 35mm slides, or a CD with images, of your work to Don Longcrier, Norick Art Center, Oklahoma City University, 2501 N Blackwelder, Oklahoma City, OK 73106.
