Rui Zhang

Rui Zhang

 

Rui is originally from Yueyang, China. She came here one year ago to pursuit the Master degree in Accounting after graduating from North China Electric Power University. She has the honor to be awarded the academic scholarship from Meinders School of Business. She is now working at the International Enrollment & Student Services as an International Student Ambassador. Besides Multicultural Student Association, she is also involving in OCU Chinese Students & Scholars Association as the President.

 

 

Albert Rummanig Kurnia

 

Albert comes from Indonesia with famous Bali island. He is attending the MBA-IT program at Meinders School of Business and expects to graduate in Spring 2010. Albert is also a very passionate person in photography.

Tran was born in Vietnam and followed her family to the U.S. since she was a kid. She is now the sophomore of Nursing program at Oklahoma City University.

Abhijit was born and grew up in India. He is doing his master in Business Administration at OCU. He is also an International Student Ambassador working at International Enrollment and Student Services.

Ellie is from Seoul, South Korea. She is pursuing her master in TESOL at OCU. She is very excited to join Multicultural Student Association.  She loves to share cultures as well as to make lots of friends, experiences and good memories when she is abroad. 

 

 

Monika Dixit

Monika Dixit

 

Monika Dixit came to the US in December 2007 and has been living in Oklahoma City since then.  She joined the School of Kinesiology, at the Oklahoma City University, as a Master’s student, in fall 2009.  Prior to coming to the US, she worked in India, as a Nutritionist in health-care industries for four years.  Monika was born and raised in the northern part of India and since her childhood she had excelled both in studies and sports. She earned her Master in Foods and Nutrition (from India).  She was the President of Food Science Club.


Monika earned Gold Medals for her theatrical performance in National Youth Festival in 2004.  She had also played Basketball and field Hockey on state level.  Monika is a gregarious girl with a sense of compassion.  She loves to make new friends and learn new culture.  With her new position as the secretary of MSA, she wants to make the stay of students at OCU full with fun and learning events.  She is looking forward to meet all the new faces, very soon.

 

Gabriela Granda Vega

 

Gaby ‘s home country is Peru. She got her undergraduate in Business Administration-Marketing in Peru. She’s now an MBA student at OCU, with specialization in Marketing since she wants to become an entrepreneurial in the future. Outside the classroom, Gaby is addicted to Latin music, painting and drawing.

Chanapa is from Thailand. She is doing MBA at OCU. She expects to graduate in Spring 2010.

 

Stacie Wiest

Stacie was born and lives in Oklahoma. She is in the honors program, an Oikos Scholar, and an Undergraduate Researcher. Her major is Nursing.
