The LEC is run by your fellow classmates under the guidance of Dr. Terry Phelps, who is the director of the LEC. Thus, the tutors are familiar with the teachers that you have, know what they expect from you in their classes and are better able to help you. The LEC is also a computer lab which has two Macs and around twenty PCs. A scanner is available for students to use on one of the computers. This computer also contains programs for visually impaired students that will read pages that are scanned or will say what is on the screen or being typed.

Our hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., summer hours are determined during the summer sessions,and our phone number is 208-5040. We are closed whenever the university is closed. You can look at our handout for more information.
