Your first year in college is an important and dynamic time. You will face many new challenges from your professors, family members, and friends; but you are not alone; OCU has a First Year Experience (FYE) program that is specifically tailored to support your individual needs.
As a new student bound for Oklahoma City University, you have certain expectations about the academic and social experiences that you will receive once you arrive on campus. |

The First-Year Experience Program is committed to integrating new students into a diverse community that values intellectual, moral, and spiritual growth. To achieve this end, we utilize faculty, administration, student life, and current students to design and implement specially tailored programs and activities that help new students succeed academically and socially at Oklahoma City University and beyond. |
