The Center for Student Leadership provides a variety of leadership themed workshops about a variety subjects. All students are welcome to attend Leadership Workshops. The workshops are not just for Leadership Certificate candidates. If you would like to suggest a leadership workshop topic, please contact the Center for Student Leadership.

Personal Finance for College Students

This workshop provides the tools and information young adults need to begin their financial life on the right foot. Participants will learn how to obtain and use credit wisely, create a positive credit history and score, develop a budget, track spending, know their student loan repayment options, and save effectively for the most common upcoming expenses.

Dr. Bob Spinks will offer reflections on creating a vision for your organiztion, enlisting others in the visioning process, and imagining all the ennobling possibilities for your organization. Dr. Spinks is the former Executive Director of the United Way of Central Oklahoma and currently serves as Director of Non-Profit Leadership Program at OCU.
