Staged Reading of Play "Wit" to be performed at KSN
Next week, TheatreOCU will present a staged-reading of Wit by Margaret Edson. Directed by OCU School of Theatre’s Dr. David Pasto, performances will be held Thursday, March 29, through Saturday, March 31. All showings are at 8:00pm in Room 226E of Kramer School of Nursing. Tickets are $12 ($6 for students) and available through the OCU Box Office located in the School of Dance, by phone at (405) 208-5227, or online at www.okcu.edu/theatre.
As a special treat, Richard Strier will open the Friday night performance. Strier is a Shakespearean & English text scholar who is mentioned in the script of Wit. He will also be hosting a question/answer session following the performance. This event kicks off a month of Shakespearean performances and activities for the School of Theatre.
Also, due to upcoming Relay for Life events, TheatreOCU is also partnering with the OCU APO & USITT teams for Relay for Life. Individuals can make donations after the performance if they desire.
