OCU Kramer School of Nursing to Present Community Health Fair

Members of the Public are Invited to Attend

 

(OKLAHOMA CITY) -  The Fountains at Canterbury of Oklahoma City will host a community health fair in conjunction with Oklahoma City University Kramer School of Nursing Feb. 1 from 7 to 11 a.m. at 1404 N.W. 122nd Street in Oklahoma City.

 

The community health fair will include booths covering medication safety, aging and bone health, activity and exercise, fall prevention, nutrition, living with arthritis and community resources. Foundation nursing students will work the booths to answer questions and educate members of the community and residents of the Fountains on the various topics.

 

"Oklahoma City University Kramer School of Nursing really enjoys giving back to the community with events such as these," said Stefanie LeGrande, Clinical Instructor of Nursing at OCU. "Plus, our students receive an introduction to health promotion and geriatrics and learn to interact as a nurse with members of the community."
