KSN Hosts 8th Annual Caring across Cultures Conference
Kramer School of Nursing and the Oklahoma Nurses Association will present the 8th Annual Caring across Cultures Conference: Spirituality in Culturally Competent Care on Friday, September 30, 2011. This conference will be heldon the campus of Oklahoma City University in the Meinders School of Business, located at NW27th and Blackwelder in Oklahoma City. The keynote speaker will be Josepha Campinha-Bacote, PhD, MAR, PMHCNS-BC, CTNA, FAAN, President and Founder of Transcultural C.A.R.E. Associates, who will present "A Biblically-Based Model of Cultural Competence." Lunch and refreshments are provided to all attendees, and 4.50 CEUs will be awarded following completions of the day's presentations and receipt of the conference evaluation.
Kaplan Nursing will also be making a special presentation during lunch, serving desserts to those who attend. This presentation is optional, but seating is limited so register soon.
