KSN Professor Earns Certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine, Becomes Online Contributor
Kramer School of Nursing's Prof. Annette Moore has earned national certification as a certified personal trainer (CPT) with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Her goal is to offer assistance to individuals who live with chronic illness yet have a desire to increase their physical activity. She is developing an online virtual coaching site with the Health and Fitness Provider Network and an affiliated group called Sharecare. Sharecare is an interactive social QA platform created by Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz in partnership with Harpo Studios, HSW International, Sony Pictures Television, and Discovery Communications. This led to an invitation from Sigma Theta Tau International to join the STTI group on Sharecare as a nurse expert contributor.
