Dr. Lois Salmeron Awarded Fellow Status

Congratulations goes to Dr. Lois L. Salmeron, Associate Dean and Professor of Kramer School of Nursing, on being selected as a Fellow of the Academy of Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing (NLN). She will be inducted on October 2, 2010, at the annual NLN Summit. NLN established the Academy of Nursing Education in 2007 to foster excellence in nursing education by recognizing and capitalizing on the wisdom of outstanding nurse educators. Fellows support the vision of the NLN to promote standards of excellence in nursing education that will increase the number of graduates from all types of nursing programs and serve as resources for new educators and those in clinical practice who hope to enter the ranks of nursing faculty. Dr. Salmeron is only Oklahoma’s second inductee into this elite group.
