KSN Research Team Publishes
One of KSN's research teams, Dr. Marvel Williamson, Dr. Linda Cook, Prof. Denise Burton, and Dr. Lois Salmeron, has had its Phase 1 research, a qualitative study titled “Retaining Nursing Faculty beyond Retirement Age,” accepted for publication in the July 2010 issue of Nurse Educator, a peer-reviewed national professional nursing journal. Phase 2 involves a national study on factors related to decisions to remain in the nursing faculty workforce, a critically important strategy for helping to address the nursing faculty shortage.
