KSN Nursing Student to Speak at Statewide Luncheon
Makenna Smith, Traditional BSN student and Miss Oklahoma for 2008, will be the Mistress of Ceremonies at the annual “Power of Nursing” luncheon on April 3, 2009. The keynote speaker will be Loretta Sweet Jemmott, PhD, RN, FAAN, and presentation of awards include Awards for Excellence in Nursing and the Champion of Nursing Award going this year to Attorney General Drew Edmondson. “The Power of Nursing” is sponsored by the Oklahoma University College of Nursing, with co-sponsorship by various hospitals and nursing organizations, including Kramer School of Nursing.
