Computer Center Helps Girl Scouts Learn to Code
The Intergenerational Computer Center at Oklahoma City University will host the 2013 Oklahoma City kickoff of the “Girl Scouts Who Code!” events in March.
During the workshops, girls will learn the basics of computer coding, earn badges for website design, design apps, make movies, learn to code scratch projects and program robots.
Visit the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma website to register or for more information at www.gswestok.org.
The ICC is also participating in a project with the Girl Scouts to create digital public service announcements to encourage healthy lifestyles. The project is sponsored by the Dell Corporation.
The Intergenerational Computer Center is located at N.W. 27th Street and Florida Avenue. For more information, call (405) 208-6230 or e-mail email@example.com.
