OCU Hosts Forensics Meeting
Oklahoma City University is hosting the 13th annual meeting of the Academy of Behavioral Profiling/International Association of Forensic Criminologists Sept. 15 and 16.
The ABP/IAFC’s meeting is a training conference and educational event that includes lectures on criminal profiling topics such as offender/crime scene characteristics, motive and victimology, as well as related subjects including ethics, forensic science and crime reconstruction. It is geared toward professionals and students, and is open to the public.
IAFC members give lectures on relevant subjects based on recent casework, research and legal decisions in the field. It is a mechanism for professionals to keep current with recent developments within the past couple of years, and for students to introduce themselves to professionals in the industry.
The featured guest presenters will be Brent E. Turvey, MS; Stan Crowder, Ph.D.; Michael McGrath, MD; and others.
Registration fees are $5 for OCU students and alumni, $25 for students from other schools and $50 for the public.
