OCU President Granted Award from Pepperdine University
Oklahoma City University President Robert Henry was awarded the Vincent S. Dalsimer Dean’s Award from Pepperdine University School of Law during a ceremony last week in Malibu, Calif.
The award is granted to distinguished lawyers and judges who make significant contributions to building outstanding legal oral and written advocates.
Pepperdine University President Andy Benton, an OCU alumnus, presented the award to Henry. “Throughout his distinguished career as a practicing lawyer, state attorney general, federal appellate judge, and academic leader, he has given countless volunteer hours to helping train students and new lawyers in the essential skills that result in outstanding litigators and officers of the court,” Benton stated during the ceremony. “Robert Henry models for the legal profession the all-important professional responsibility of transmitting the values of the profession to new generations of lawyers.”
