OCU Hosts Constitution Day Forum
Oklahoma City University will host a Constitution Day forum at 1 p.m. Sept. 16 in the Homsey Family Moot Courtroom of Sarkey Law Center at N.W. 23rd Street and Kentucky Avenue. Affirmative action is the theme of this year’s forum and it is free to the public.
Guest panelists include state Sen. Rob Johnson; Tamya Cox, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union; Jonathan Willner, economics professor at OCU; and Marilyn Murrell, mayor of Arcadia and the Minority Business Consortium chairwoman. The forum will be moderated by OCU LAW professor Danne Johnson.
The sponsors of the event are OCU’s NAACP college chapter, Multicultural Student Affairs, Black Law Student Association, Political Science Department and Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science National Honor Society.
