OCU Nursing School Expands Degree Opportunities
OKLAHOMA CITY
– Oklahoma City
University’s Kramer School of Nursing has restructured its undergraduate degree
programs leading to Registered Nurse licensure to give students more flexible
choices.
Prospective students
interested in obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree can start
during the fall, spring or summer on a part-time, full-time or accelerated
schedule.
“More opportunities for
professional nurses exist now than ever before due to the worldwide shortage of
Registered Nurses and their expanding roles,” said Kramer School of Nursing
Dean Marvel Williamson.
Williamson noted the Kramer
School of Nursing accepts all applicants as soon as they are admitted to the
university, unlike most schools offering bachelor’s degrees in nursing which
have long waiting lists.
OCU’s Kramer School of
Nursing is ranked among the top 10 percent of nursing schools in the nation.
The school also offers master’s and doctoral degrees in nursing including a
family nurse practitioner program and a PhD degree for nurse educators and
researchers.
