Recession Underscores Importance of Degree Completion: OCU Programs Help
OKLAHOMA CITY— Adults who would like to finish their bachelor’s degrees without interrupting their careers are invited to an information session next month at Oklahoma City University. Studies have shown that college-educated workers will earn $1million more over a lifetime than peers without degrees.
The session will feature OCU’s School of Adult and Continuing Education (SACE) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 13. The presentation will be held in Room 151 of the Walker Center for Arts and Sciences, located at the 2600 block of N. Florida Avenue.
The School of Adult and Continuing Education offers accelerated bachelor’s degrees in behavioral studies and liberal studies with concentrations in business, accounting, mass communications and organizational communication. Classes meet in eight-week cycles, one night per week. Online classes are also available. Through portfolios, students can receive credit for college level work experience and learning.
