Federal Reserve Officer to Discuss Financial Markets at Oklahoma City University
OKLAHOMA CITY— The senior vice president and director of research for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City will discuss his research on monetary policy and financial markets at Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business next week.
Gordon H. Sellon, Ph.D. regularly attends the Federal Open Market Committee meetings in Washington D.C. with Kansas City Federal Reserve President Tom Hoenig and will give his lecture at OCU just after one of the FOMC meetings.
Sellon will give an afternoon lecture May 1 in the Gardner Room at the Meinders School of Business. A portion of his presentation will be given in conjunction with Professor Steven Agee’s macroeconomics class. Agee is director of OCU’s Economic Research and Policy Institute and is chairman of the Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
