Welcome to the Oklahoma City University Program Note Resource for Band Directors. This database was created as a source of information about band music, particularly for use as program notes and for scholarly study. All program notes were researched and written or compiled by Dr. Matthew Mailman, Director of Bands at Oklahoma City University, or his students in his conducting seminar. The notes all include researched, erudite information about each piece as well as pertinent data about each composer. The database can be accessed by piece title, or composer. All information may be copied and pasted for immediate use.
