BACHELOR OF ARTS IN MUSIC: ELECTIVE STUDIES IN PREMEDICINE

Music majors interested in attending medical school may select the Bachelor of Arts in music with elective studies in premedicine. These students will follow the general education and major requirements for the B.A. in music degree and use the elective hours to complete the prerequisites for medical school admissions. Students electing this track will be assigned both a music advisor in the Bass School of Music and a premedical advisor in the Department of Biology.

General Education Requirements: 43 credit hrs
Music Major Requirements: 47 credit hrs (49 for vocal students)
Pre-Medicine Requirements: 42 credit hrs
