Psychology is an article-driven discipline, so go to the "Articles" tab for information on the best databases to use for finding articles on your topic.
For courses offered in the spring 2012 semester, these links will take you to additional resources on your subject, including print books, ebooks, and web sites:
Addiction Prevention [See also NIDA; Addiction Science Links]
Applications and Careers in Psychology [See "More" tab and "Publication Manual" links below]
Intimate Relationships [See also PBS.org; TwoOfUs.org]
Introduction to Psychology [See also Ciccarelli guide; APA Topics]
Psychology of Personality [See also Personality Psychology Links]
Research Methods & Analysis [See also Research Methods KB]
Statistics for Behavioral Sciences [See also Psychological Statistics]
If you are writing a psychology term paper or other big project, you may need to use interlibrary loan for items that Dulaney-Browne Library doesn't own. Try WorldCat for the easiest way to borrow books that you need from other libraries. For articles, our EBSCOhost databases have an ILL link on every article that is not full-text, so that ordering them is simple. (Please allow a few days for the book or article to be delivered; you will be contacted by email.)
Please remember always to cite the source where you obtained your information, according to the rules in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (online guide from Purdue University). See also our library's guide to plagiarism (APA) as well as the APA's own tutorial for more information.
If you ever have any trouble finding what you need, please don't hesitate to contact me or askalibrarian. We're here to help you!
