Please read: Warning concerning copyright restrictions.
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

If you are an OCU student, staff, or faculty member, please come to the Circulation Desk at the Dulaney-Browne Library to apply for your OK-Share card.
OK-Share cards for students will expire at the end of the current semester. Cards for faculty and staff will expire in August. There is no charge for the OK-Share card.
Students must be currently enrolled and should not have any overdue materials or unpaid fines or fees on their account. Participants also accept responsibility for returning the materials borrowed from other libraries and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the library from which they have borrowed the materials. OCU students, faculty, and staff may return their borrowed item through the Interlibrary Loan department at the Dulaney-Browne Library with the understanding that they must be returned with enough time to arrive before the due date assigned by the lending library. Participants also agree to pay any fines, including, but not limited to, late returns, damage or loss of those library materials. They are also responsible for maintaining current contact information with both OCU and the lending library.
For a list of participating libraries visit the Oklahoma Council of Academic Library Directors website.
For further information, please contact Kristen Burkholder, Access Services Librarian, at (405) 208-5956.
To determine if the Dulaney-Browne Library at Oklahoma City University has the materials you need, please check our catalog.
OK-Share participants from cooperating institutions need to request the card from their home library before borrowing materials from the Dulaney-Browne Library.
Once a participant has been issued a card by the home institution, he or she may bring a picture ID and the OK-Share card to the circulation desk at the Dulaney-Browne Library and may borrow up to five items for a three week period. Books can be renewed four times with the understanding that they must be returned immediately if recalled by another patron.
Borrowers are also responsible for the replacement cost of any lost or damaged materials plus a $15.00 processing fee. If the lost item is out of print, a replacement cost of $50.00 plus the $15.00 processing fee will be charged.
Replacement cost for a lost OK-Share card will be $5.00.
For further information, please contact the circulation department at (405) 208-5068 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
