Greetings Campus Community,
Today marks a series of beginnings. Later today, we will start the weekend (And it is going to be a great one on the OCU campus! See World-famous paleontologist Paul Sereno to Speak.), we welcome the arrival of March, and we officially kick off the 2013 Campus Campaign.
The Campaign is one of the most important opportunities of the year to support the areas on campus that mean the most to you. Each year, faculty, staff, and administrators generously support a number of programs that benefit our talented students and add to the prestige of an OCU degree.
I hope you will join me in making your gift this month. More important than the amount of your contribution is your participation in the campaign. Your commitment will help send a positive message to external supporters and foundations considering contributions to Oklahoma City University, and it will help create new learning opportunities for students.
I am happy to introduce two new campaign features this year, developed by the Office of Advancement. This first is online giving. Visit www.okcu.edu/campuscampaign to complete your contribution today. The second is a group of Department Ambassadors. You will be hearing soon from someone in your work area about this year's campaign opportunities. Additionally, you will receive a contribution form by campus mail in mid-March.
The campaign will conclude April 22 with a campus-wide celebration. During the campaign, the Office of Advancement will also celebrate departments who reach 100 percent participation.
If you have questions, contact Director of Annual Giving Mandy Heaps at ext. 5118 or email@example.com.
It is a privilege to see, on a daily basis, how committed and dedicated you are to Oklahoma City University. You are passionate about what you do and you enjoy helping students reach their highest potential. We are fortunate to have a campus community with a strong tradition of giving, both to your work and to the annual campaign.
Let's join together and celebrate Oklahoma City University by supporting our students, our programs, and our campus.
