Details: The Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma book discussion series continues its fall 2013 season with “Choosing Sides,” featuring selections from the “America’s War” anthology. The discussion is free to the public.
“Choosing Sides” will include “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” by Frederick Douglass; the first inaugural address by Abraham Lincoln; the “Cornerstone” speech by Alexander H. Stephens; and a speech by Robert Montague at the Virginia secession convention.
