Oklahoma Youth Forestry Camp is a week-long adventure where
students learn about and gain appreciation for the natural world.
By experiencing nature in a fun atmosphere, students will gain a
life-long awareness and respect for the world in which they live.
Camp is June 3 - 8, 2013, and will be offered at Beavers Bend
State Park, located in the heart of the Kiamichi Mountains north
of Broken Bow.
While enjoying the out-of-doors, campers will explore natural
resources and the issues affecting these resources through a
series of hands-on programs led by resource professionals.
These programs include wildlife management, steam ecology,
forest management, fire management, and multiple resource
Of course, there is a time for swimming, hiking, fishing,
canoeing and other outdoor recreation while making new
friends from across the state of Oklahoma.
