Chesapeake Energy CEO Aubrey McClendon announced July 12 the creation of the Chesapeake Presidential Scholars Program at Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business. 17 outstanding freshmen make up the first class of scholars. The program, funded by a $5 million donation from Chesapeake Energy, provides up to $25,000 per year in tuition to each scholar.
