Wilma Mankiller Tree Dedication
Gloria Steinem was the guest of honor at a tree-planting ceremony this fall at Oklahoma City University in remembrance of Wilma Pearl Mankiller, the first female chief of the Cherokee Nation.
Chickasaw Warrior Garden Dedication
Oklahoma City University dedicated its new Chickasaw Garden, a gift from the tribe to the university, during a standing-room only ceremony Sept. 6.
